Welcome to the 2019 TAER Conference

The 2018-19 Board of Directors of TAER would like to welcome each of you to the 2019 conference.
Please be sure to visit the Vendors to see the latest and greatest technology, instructional materials, and other special resources. The vendors will be set up in La Joya Room from 12 pm Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon at 5pm.

The Silent Auction will also be set up in the vendor area. Please support our efforts to raise money for scholarships and awards by bidding on these items.
The apps “nearby Explorer” and “Nearby Explorer Online” now allow individuals to set up indoor navigation systems using Bluetooth beacons. TAER has set up this system for this year’s conference. Please join us in experiencing an indoor navigation system by using one of these apps. There will be short instructional videos playing next to the O&M Division 9 table. Quick-start guides have also been shared inside of the bag you received at registration. If you are a Division 9 member then be sure to attend the division meeting where we will be giving away a set of beacons as a door prize.

The President’s Reception will be Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Colonnade Ballroom on the 20th Floor. This is an opportunity to network with friends and colleagues. There will be delicious appetizers and a cash bar.
Division Meetings will be held on Friday afternoon. Please see the schedule and become involved in a division of your interest.
